{"id":480,"date":"2019-03-15T05:42:34","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T05:42:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.techtotalsystems.com\/?p=480"},"modified":"2019-03-15T05:42:34","modified_gmt":"2019-03-15T05:42:34","slug":"excellent-opportunity-with-verifone-in-bangalore-electronicity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.techtotalsystems.com\/?p=480","title":{"rendered":"Excellent Opportunity with Verifone in Bangalore (Electronicity)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Junior Technical Writer<\/p>\n<p>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Create, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, or maintenance docs\/procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, using the standard Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consult with technical team and\/or users to learn document requirements, purpose, and audience.<\/li>\n<li>Read\/review written information about the project; leverage any existing documentation as possible.<\/li>\n<li>Interview scientists, engineers, or managers who work on the product; take notes.<\/li>\n<li>Sort and organize the material and prepare an outline.<\/li>\n<li>Research\/translate highly technical information into nontechnical or less technical user documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Write rough draft considering standards of order, clarity, style, and terminology.<\/li>\n<li>Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Submit copies of draft to technical reviewers.<\/li>\n<li>Write final draft according to corrections and suggestions.<\/li>\n<li>Complete internal quality checks and peer review.<\/li>\n<li>Complete post-publication source- and release-control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experienced using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional grammar skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing multiple projects and adhering to schedules and priorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering Degree<\/li>\n<li>Extensive years of technical writer experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, Visio, and Source Control Systems.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and conversational skills.<\/li>\n<li>A strong, positive work ethic as demonstrated by initiative, adaptability, independence, and the desire to produce a quality product.<\/li>\n<li>An excellent team player who can work on complex projects individually or witha group of other technical writers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title:\u00a0Junior Technical Writer Job Description Position Summary: Create, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, or maintenance docs\/procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, using the standard Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
