Significant experience writing effective technical publications
for a technical audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Experience creating videos for a technical audience using
Camtasia, Snag-it or other tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Experience with a variety of technical writing and
content-creation interfaces, including HTML, wiki markup,
video-production tools, XML, and any standard graphics tool to create
and manage technical publications. RoboHelp experience helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal
skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Familiarity with online content-delivery tools and platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Significant experience in working with extremely complex
technical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Desired experience includes familiarity with
customer-experience software, telecommunications technology and
standards, or other highly technical systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: _Design, create and support a variety of
technical content related to Genesys Customer Experience offerings. The
successful candidate will understand and be adept at the roles and
responsibilities associated with a senior technical writer, 7 to 10
years of experience, in the software industry. This candidate will work
with Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Care, Professional
Services, and Training departments in a cross-functional, team
environment to gather information, create and maintain high-quality
technical content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with and interested in
two main areas: innovative strategies for technical content production
(primarily multimedia–videos and online publishing) and solid technical
aptitude (comfort with scripting languages) with excellent writing
skills. A candidate’s strong understanding of writing for the Cloud and
of content architecture best practices will also enhance consideration.
