We’re looking for a technical writer to build our end-user communication. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves unraveling complex concepts and then stitching them into concise copy.
In this role, you will work closely with our technology team to craft the user experience. You will use your strong understanding of English grammar, tonality, and points of view to create user guides, product documentation, and web\/app micro-copy. Your writing will directly impact user journeys by helping our users complete tasks in the most efficient manner possible. You will also design effective and engaging eLearning content for our user base (comprising of members from the medical community). Creativity with an experimental mindset is most welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Strong understanding of English grammar, tonality, and points of view
\u25cf Excellent editing and proofreading skills
\u25cf Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively for different audiences
\u25cf An obsession to understand the end-to-end user journey. You know that copy is an essential part of creating a consistently high-quality omnichannel user experience.
\u25cf An affinity for story-telling – Designing eLearning narratives for end-users, to guide them to product proficiency
\u25cf Research-oriented – You constantly strive to up our content game by staying abreast of the latest UX Design\/Writing trends
\u25cf Experience with MS Office Suite\/G Suite<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Prior experience creating technical documentation – user manuals, instructional material, tutorials, release notes, etc.
\u25cf Content creation for eLearning:
\u25cb Proficiency with Camtasia\/Adobe Captivate\/Articulate Storyline, or similar video editing tools
\u25cb Familiarity with Adult Learning Theories
\u25cf Working knowledge HTML\/CSS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25cf Exceptional language skills
\u25cf 1 – 2 years of experience writing for the technology sector
\u25cf Bachelor’s diploma\/degree in English\/Journalism\/Communication or UX Design\/Product Design\/Instructional Design. (If you have a degree in any other field, but are still interested in this role, please apply! We\u2019d love new perspectives)
