With over 2,700 employees, 50 different products and a global client base, there\u2019s no better time to advance your career at Aptean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Process- Aptitude(Math\/ Logical Reasoning)\/ Technical Writing Test\/ Technical Interview\/ Managerial Interview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Create and maintain online help, user guides, API documentation and other document types.<\/li><li>Create flowcharts and other diagrams.<\/li><li>Monitor issue tracking systems, in-house IM systems, and wiki pages for updates affecting the documentation.<\/li><li>Use the application that you are documenting and be an excellent customer advocate.<\/li><li>Maintain consistency in tone and style.<\/li><li>Conform to the Technical Publications documentation standards and best practices.<\/li><li>Detail oriented with an eye for improving existing work.<\/li><li>Work with senior writers, developers, product managers, and other partners to understand the requirements and scope of product documentation deliverables.<\/li><li>Coordinate document reviews with stakeholders, and incorporate feedback.<\/li><li>Participate in technical and functional review meetings.<\/li><li>Strong commitment to teamwork and willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.<\/li><li>Quickly learn and understand new technical features and concepts with passion.<\/li><li>Achieve and maintain relevant product knowledge.<\/li><li>Analyze and understand documentation requirements and the audiences.<\/li><li>Work with minimal supervision and complete tasks on schedule.<\/li><li>Capable of working on multiple projects at the same time and prioritizing work appropriately.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Looking for BA\/MA students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 0-1 year of technical writing experience or any other role in a software company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with global and culturally diverse departments and groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to clearly express complex ideas and concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Knowledge of technical communication best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Strong vocabulary and sentence structuring knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Deeper understanding of the SDLC and DDLC processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Strong knowledge of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Madcap Flare or any topic based authoring tool<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Standard technical content development tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Microsoft Office Suite<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Visio, Illustrator, or Draw.io<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Source control tools and SharePoint<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Markup languages such as HTML, XML, and Markdown<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>o Video editing tools<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Associate Technical Writer Location: Madurai (WFH) Aptean is changing.
