Duties

What you get to do in this role:

Work closely with engineering and product management to review and implement fixes for the user-focused technical documentation for multiple product features or applications, in alignment with an established content strategyDevelop an understanding of the product ecosystem and expert knowledge of the specific product area and user base you support

Skills

Basic Qualifications:

Highly motivated, independent, resourceful, self-learner, with the ability to manage multiple tasksUnderstanding of content development life cycles and processesPreferred Qualifications:

3+ years work experience in technical communication

Experience authoring in the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) or another XML-based structured authoring architectureExperience independently creating and delivering documentation in a fast-paced, globally distributed software development environment(Advantage) Knowledge of IT infrastructure products and industry

Education

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or higher in technical writing, technical communication, English, journalism, or rhetoric; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in these or other related fields
