Job Description

1. Uses Research, collaboration with other teams and anticipate how Astoria’s products and services will be used for customers.
2. Ensures technical accuracy by working very closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Support, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams.
3. Creates easy to understand and impactful documentation across a variety of formats such as HTML Help and browser-based Help, depending on the specific purpose of the documentation.
4. Responsible for the entire lifecycle of product documentation (DDLC), including the maintenance of existing product manuals.
5. Provides meaningful illustrations to facilitate customers’ understanding of the products and services.
6. Effectively translates even complex technical concepts into user-oriented information for non-technical and technical audiences.
7. Works with software development team to improve the UI and messages.
8. Uses the product/service regularly to understand it thoroughly and discover ways to improve it.
9. Advises customers of service enhancements to ensure the customer is fully informed at all times.
10. Addresses product bugs, provides accurate descriptions, and collaborates with R&D team on fixes.
11. Ensures proper case documentation and identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience.
12. Handles customer queries in an efficient, timely and professional manner that is consistent with the Astoria’s brand and values to maintain customer satisfaction and retention.
13. Proactively provides solutions to customer queries and problems, applying expertise of products, and services to maximise customer satisfaction.
14. Begins to build a relationship with the product group thorough product improvement requests and feedback.
15. Continuously updates his/her skills based on new, upcoming technologies.
