JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Business Development Proposal Writer who can lead the proposal process and produce strong proposals, both of which will be essential to the expansion of our business mainly in the field of Information Technology. Alongside our sales, marketing, and delivery teams, you will collaborate closely to comprehend client needs, design specialised solutions, and produce strong proposals that clearly communicate our value proposition. The ideal applicant should have experience in managing presales’ projects and creating winning proposals in a demanding situation.

Roles and Responsibilities

Proposal Writing:

•         Knowledge about IT, Software’s and Latest Technologies would be preferred.

•         Source request for proposals (RFPs) from Upwork, government database, and other channels.

•         Draft proposals using the company’s template for response to RFPs

•         Submit bids on bidding platforms leveraging cover letter templates and other pre-sales resources

•         Source grants and other forms of funding, and draft proposals for them

•         Develop and write detailed, high-quality proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

•         Ensure all proposals are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and client requirements.

•         Craft Effective Proposals: Gather and analyse information from various sources to create compelling and effective proposals.

•         Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and high standards in proposals.

•         Edit and Proofread: Maintain high quality and professionalism by editing and proofreading proposals meticulously with client specifications.

•         Maintain Documentation: Keep a well-organized repository of proposal templates and relevant documents for easy reference.

•         Adapt Writing Styles: Tailor your writing style and content to meet the specific requirements of different proposals.

•         Lead proposal-related projects aimed at enhancing the company’s effectiveness in winning new business and retaining clients, emphasizing innovation and differentiation in proposal strategies.

•         Oversee all aspects of daily proposal activities, including solutioning sessions, team meetings, writing development, and editing, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards.

•         Manage proposal budgets to optimize cost-effectiveness in development and production, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project requirements and business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

·         Preferably, BE, B.Tech, BBA, BCom, or MBA.

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Extensive proposal writing and editing skills.

·         Proficiency in grammar, spellings, and punctuations and accurate proofreading skills.

·         Must have a good understanding of the technical concepts to understand the technical scope/Requirements of the RFP.

·         Proficiency with PowerPoint and MS Office Suite Applications.

·         Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.

·         Detailing; strong desire and dedication to provide a high-Caliber service.

·         Demonstrate exceptional relationship-building abilities and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
